Each department has specialist rooms equipped with PCs and video projectors together with the shared use of the ICT Humanities PC suite. Specialist software, textbooks, artifacts and videos are available to all departments. In addition to this the History department has a suite of 6 PCs, a scanner, printer and two InterWrite pads provided as part of the Leading edge project.

Roman Wroxeter site investigation
In year 10 students attend a site investigation at Wroxeter Roman city.
GCSE Results always above the national average.
The department was one of the first in the country to take part in a videoconferencing link with a school in America to deliver on-line lessons about aspects of each others schools, culture and historical events. The project was hosted live to an audience of notable people within the community. It was also congratulated by Charles Clarke the then Secretary of State for Education and David Milliband the Junior Minister for Education.
