Ercall Wood Technology College is a happy, innovative and forward thinking school in Telford, Shropshire.
A great deal of hard work has gone into raising standards in the core areas with pupil achievement at a record high. In Summer 2011 the Mathematics Department celebrated a fourth year increase with 56% achieving A* – C. For the crucial headline figure we achieved 51% 5 A* – C including English and Mathematics with clear aspirations to reach 60% next year.
We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, confident, creative and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics. Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member and create imaginative solutions to raising the attainment of students.
With a newly formed senior team we are at an exciting stage of development, looking to build on our last good Ofsted inspection. Plans are also well underway for a new build in little over two years.
We provide high level of support and professional development and can offer a positive friendly and welcoming working environment. In 2011 we were awarded outstanding for our induction of NQT’s by the Local Authority.
